New Tanyacsarda is open only for events. We are happy to welcome corporate, tourist, school, and other groups by prior reservation at flexible times. The New Tanyacsarda’s spacious terraces, banquet halls, and outdoor areas are also ideal venues for family events (e.g., weddings, christenings, graduations, birthdays, name days, etc.).
Occasionally, on Sundays, we offer a family buffet lunch accompanied by a carriage ride and a horse show. You are welcome to join our horse shows, but we recommend that you register in advance, as scheduled times are subject to change.

Flavors, traditions, hospitality.
The restaurant is located right next to the main road No. 5, at the 71st kilometer stone. The appearance and design of the thatched-roof building reflect traditional folk architectural features. The interior is decorated with traditional tools and household items, and the walls of the Bozsó room are adorned with paintings by artist János Bozsó.
Free parking is available in front of the building, and a colorful playground has been set up for children.
The Old Tanyacsarda has four private rooms, making it suitable for hosting events of up to 200 people. In addition, the building surrounds a spacious, charming courtyard, where a massive cherry tree and walnut tree provide natural shade, and misting fans keep the area cool during the summer months. We also provide free Wi-Fi with full coverage. Thus, the csarda not only welcomes guests as a cozy à la carte restaurant but can also serve as an ideal venue for family events, corporate lunches or dinners, training sessions, and even intimate weddings.
Located next to the Old Tanyacsarda is Hungary’s first Farm Museum, which is a wonderful tourist destination.
For events with larger groups, we recommend the New Tanyacsarda. For example: partner parties, corporate family days, and weddings.

The New Tanyacsarda is located just under an hour’s drive from Budapest, between Lajosmizse and Felsőlajos, in an easily accessible spot barely 400 meters from the main road No. 5. The nearly 50-hectareestate welcomes guests with stunning Hungarian Great Plain scenery and an authentic rural atmosphere. It’s the perfect venue for large-scale outdoor events, corporate events, family days, or culinary experiences – even for gatherings of several thousand people.

The atmosphere of the csarda can be brought anywhere
For Old és New Tanyacsarda, nothing is impossible. For us, catering for a small corporate meeting is just as natural as serving an event with hundreds or even thousands of guests at an off-site location. With our off-site catering service, we can recreate the authentic Tanyacsarda atmosphere at any event—we bake, cook, plate, and serve, even in the middle of the plains!
